Why is my 5nine product license status showing tampered/invalid/expired while I know it should be valid?  

Issue

I am having issues with my 5nine products in that, when I check the current status of my license, I see that my license is showing tampered/invalid/expired status while I know, it should be valid. What might be causing this, and how do I fix it?

 

Resolution

This issue can happen if the 5nine Management Service VM is using the Dynamic MAC address assignment and the MAC address was changed after the product installation. Please ensure that the 5nine Management Service has Static MAC address enabled.
