Why can't I see virtual firewall logs in the 5nine Cloud Security console?

Issue

I want to review virtual firewall logs in the 5nine Cloud Security console for troubleshooting purposes but I am not able to see the logs. How do I resolve this?

Resolution

In the event that you cannot see the virtual firewall logs in the 5nine Cloud Security console, please check the following:

  1.  vFirewall is enabled on the virtual machine (VM right-click menu or Settings>vFirewall)
  2.  5nine vFW extension is enabled on each Hyper-V Virtual Switch
  3.  Hyper-V host got rebooted after the 5nine Cloud Security Host Management Installation
  4.  Hyper-V host got rebooted after disabling and re-enabling the 5nine vFW extension on the Hyper-V Virtual Switch (network filtering driver has to be enabled at system startup, thus if you disable and re-enable it during the same session, a host reboot is required)
